Over 11 million viewers tuned in to Bigg Boss-2 in the first week, according to aMap data, helping Colors, the month-old general entertainment channel of Viacom 18, keep its third place among 12 such channels. STAR Plus and Zee TV remain number one and two, says aMap, the agency that discloses viewership data overnight, as opposed to the more-widely-accepted TAM data, which takes much longer time. Rahul Mahajan’s addiction for cigarettes can now screw things for him!! Rahul tried to instigate all other contestants to demand for cigarettes and asked them to revolt against Bigg Boss by simply removing their microphones.
The provocative behavior of Rahul Mahajan has not been appreciated by Bigg Boss who is said to have warned Rahul that if he continues to do so, he might get evicted from the contest.
Shilpa Shetty has offered her condolences to her one time rival Jade Goody after the latter was diagnosed with cervical cancer. The Big Brother star had been appearing on the Indian version of the reality show – known as Bigg Boss – when she was informed of the diagnosis and has flown home to the UK.
And Bollywood actress Shetty, who was the target of alleged racism from Goody when they both appeared on Celebrity Big Brother has offered her support to her former housemate. “I’d like to say on behalf of the people of India that we wish her well and our prayers are with her,” she told GMTV. Bigg Boss 2 : Shilpa wishes Goody well with cancer battle
Faisal Khan approached the court seeking a stay on the telecast of the reality show alleging that the contract signed between him, Viacomm 18 media, the newly launched Colors channel and production company Endemol was terminated at the last moment allegedly at the behest of Aamir Khan.
According to Faisal, he was promised a signing amount of Rs 7 lakh, of which the channel had already paid Rs 5.25 lakh, with the remaining amount to be paid in 15 days. Continue Reading »
