I don't know how true this is, that he has never beat his wife up etc etc…it sounds like one of Raja's interview in which he stated, “everything in his marriage is fine.” He was asked about rumors that his wife was divorcing him. Regarding this he said, “why would she divorce me? Everything is fine…I'm using her money to make films, so why would she divorce me.”
I personally think that Rahul did beat her up and that Sweta is just keeping quiet to respect Pramod Mahajan. She doesn't want to be the reason for their families 'bad' reputation but as we all know her silence says all =0

well.. she said nothing is wrong..but the fact of the matter is that she did divorce him… n she said in her latest interview..abt what all shez gone through.n everyone..her nieces..her sister everyone was like what hell shez gone through widout any details..BUT IF IT WAS JUST DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE TWO..BOTH WUD HAVE GONE THROUGH HELL.. rahul mahajan is a wife beater neven on d show u can see his real side comin out at times…he threw the roti wen monica asked him to call raja for food as well

Rahul wooed Shweta Singh after the death of his father by telling her that if she marries him everything will be alright and she did exactly that, and now look where she ended up. He is doing the exact thing with Monica, but she is too naive. Her naiveness has brought trouble to her past, and now, also her future. I can't see this relationship lasting.
